How to use image metadata viewer & remover
- Choose the "View metadata" or "Remove metadata" tab.
- Choose or drag in a PNG, JPG or WebP image.
- To view, click "View metadata" to see camera details, GPS coordinates and any embedded text fields.
- To clean, click "Remove metadata" and download the file — the image pixels are untouched, only the hidden data is stripped.

- Checking whether a photo still has GPS coordinates before posting it publicly.
- Removing camera, software and location metadata before sharing a photo with someone you don't fully trust.
- Checking what a PNG's embedded text fields contain — some AI image tools write their generation settings there.
