PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 20 MB

Your file never leaves this browser tab — everything runs locally on your device.

How to use image metadata viewer & remover

  1. Choose the "View metadata" or "Remove metadata" tab.
  2. Choose or drag in a PNG, JPG or WebP image.
  3. To view, click "View metadata" to see camera details, GPS coordinates and any embedded text fields.
  4. To clean, click "Remove metadata" and download the file — the image pixels are untouched, only the hidden data is stripped.

Common use cases

  • Checking whether a photo still has GPS coordinates before posting it publicly.
  • Removing camera, software and location metadata before sharing a photo with someone you don't fully trust.
  • Checking what a PNG's embedded text fields contain — some AI image tools write their generation settings there.
